HIGHWAY users plying the Meru Tunnel (Kuala Kangsar Ipoh stretch) on the North-South Expressway (NSE) are advised to plan their journey following the temporary closure of the left lane at the tunnel between KM260.30 and KM262.05 (Southbound) for pavement rehabilitation work. The temporary closure will be activated in stages from Feb 7 (Tuesday) to Feb 16 (Thursday), 2023, between 9:00 pm and 12:00 pm daily.

According to PLUS, throughout the duration, a contra flow will be staggered activated at the affected stretch depending on traffic situation to facilitate smoother traffic flow.

As such, all highway users heading south/Ipoh/Kuala Lumpur are strongly advised to plan their journey via the PLUS App to check the traffic conditions, while adhering to traffic signages and instructions by PLUS from time to time when passing through the affected stretch.
